Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk is playing his second game in two nights, but that’s no excuse for allowing this goal to David Backes:

The puck was deflected by defenseman Marco Scandella, but Dubnyk appears to be too slow to react on the play.

As for Backes, the goal won’t go down as his most memorable one, but he’ll take it, as it was his first goal of the season.

The 31-year-old is struggled mightily in the first month of the season. He came into this game with just two assists in 10 contests. The Blues are hoping that this will get him out of his funk.

After going down 2-0, the Wild have fought back to tie the game 2-2. They’re currently in the second period.
