Kings extend winning streak to seven with OT win over Preds

After dropping the first three games of their season, the Los Angeles Kings seem to have forgotten how to lose.

Los Angeles extended their winning streak to seven games after beating Nashville 4-3 in overtime on Saturday.

Tyler Toffoli is a big reason why the Kings have been so successful of late.

The 23-year-old chipped in with two goals in Saturday’s win. He’s now scored eight times in his last seven contests.

Toffoli opened the scoring in the second period before Nashville got power play goals from James Neal and Shea Weber. The Kings forward tied the game 2-2 in the second period, and teammate Andy Andreoff ggave the Kings the lead 3:02 later. Preds defenseman Ryan Ellis tied the game almost four minutes later.

After the Predators missed on an odd man rush in overtime, Jeff Carter beat Pekka Rinne to give the Kings the win.
