Wild forward Justin Fontaine will be out for a while after taking a knee-on-knee hit from ‘Hawks forward Andrew Desjardins on Friday night.

Although it would seem obvious that Fontaine injured his knee on the play, Wild coach Mike Yeo wouldn’t confirm that.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Desjardins won’t face supplemental discipline for the hit.
Fontaine has one goal and four points in eight games this season.
