New Jerseys forward Tuomu Ruutu is out 4-6 weeks with a fractured foot.
The fracture was originally diagnosed as a bruise. Ruutu hasn’t played since Oct. 16. He has no points in three games.
Earlier today, the Devils claimed forward Bobby Farnham off waivers from Pittsburgh.
Fracture did not show up initially. That's why Devils said it was a bruise.
