The New York Rangers are on such a solid run, they’re probably bummed out that they won’t play again until Friday.
After a slow start tonight, the Rangers exerted control over the Calgary Flames, ultimately winning 4-1.
Arguably the most exciting moment came from Kevin Hayes’ astounding pass to Oscar Lindberg - see the goal above - but either way it was a reminder that the Rangers can light up the scoreboard when they’re clicking.
That they are, too; they’ve earned at least one point in the past five games, going 3-0-2.
So, after 10 games, Rangers 6-2-2 (115-point pace) and, to a man, all are not fooled, know there's plenty to improve.

For the Calgary Flames, it’s all another reminder that they have a long way to go if they want to prove that last season wasn’t some Cinderella fluke.
It’s not a great time to be the only other team in a stat with the Columbus Blue Jackets, after all:
The #Flames and Columbus Blue Jackets are only NHL squads that have yet to have a lead at second intermission of a game so far this season.

While Antti Raanta played nicely once again, the Rangers chased Jonas Hiller from Calgary’s net. New York’s really taking care of business at Madison Square Garden, in particular:

This contest sure made it easy to go with Joni Ortio on Monday.
Hartley confirms Ortio will start tomorrow. #Flames
