Not that long before puck drop (for a game on NBCSN, might we add), the Philadelphia Flyers announced that Brayden Schenn will miss tonight’s contest against the Boston Bruins.
There aren’t a ton of details beyond it being an upper-body injury.
Broadstreet Hockey mulled over possible lineup implications, as Schenn apparently seemed fine as far as the morning skate went. There seems to be two scenarios: Sam Gagner slides into the lineup or Vincent Lecavalier makes his 2015-16 debut.
The Gagner option may be a bit more likely:
Poor Vinny.

Luke Schenn appears headed for the lineup, which ruined any “Schenn-less” headlines (no fun).
Update: It’s possible that Antoine Roussel may have injured Schenn.
Have to think Schenn injury is result of being upended by Roussel on Tuesday

Here’s the full exchange from Tuesday night, which does focus mostly on the fallout with Sam Gagner and Roussel.
