Sergei Bobrovsky better pull himself together, because he’s starting tomorrow at home against Toronto.

“There’s no doubt Bob is playing,” Columbus coach Todd Richards told reporters today.

Bobrovsky is having a nightmare start to the season. Last night, after giving up six goals to Ottawa, he confessed he had “zero confidence right now.”

After four starts, Bobrovsky’s save percentage sits at a ghastly .830. He’s 0-4-0 and given up 18 goals combined.

But, as mentioned, those numbers weren’t bad enough for Richards to give backup Curtis McElhinney the nod against the Leafs. The coach insisted he hasn’t lost any confidence in Bobrovksy, even if Bobrovsky’s lost it all in himself.

“Looking at the chances we’re giving up, he’s out there on an island a lot of times by himself,” said Richards.

The Jackets also play Saturday in Chicago.
