The Ottawa Senators have been impressive against the Columbus Blue Jackets so far tonight, but not all the news is good news.
Forward Clarke MacArthur’s night is over thanks to a lower-body injury, according to a variety of reporters. The severity of the injury isn’t clear at the moment (beyond being serious enough to end his night early, of course).
There’s not much information about how MacArthur got hurt. Here’s the best description available so far, though:
