Per TVA’s Renaud Lavoie, a long list of players made their way onto the waiver wire on Friday.

Some of the more notable names include St. Louis defenseman Andre Benoit and Blackhawks forwards Corey Tropp and Jeremy Morin.

The Blackhawks acquired both Morin and Tropp in an off-season trade that saw Brandon Saad head to Columbus. Morin was actually traded from Chicago to Columbus last season, before being shipped back to the ‘Hawks in the blockbuster deal.

Of the two, Tropp has more NHL experience -- nearly 150 games -- and is coming off a career-high 61 appearances with the Jackets last year.

As for available blueliners, Benoit stands out. The 31-year-old veteran had a disappointing season in Buffalo last year, but is just two years removed from a seven-goal and 28-point campaign with the Colorado Avalanche.

Benoit signed a one-year, two way contract with St. Louis over the summer.
