Jonathan Huberdeau has reportedly signed a two-year, $6.5 million bridge deal with the Florida Panthers.

According to TSN.ca, the 22-year-old forward will be paid $2.5 million this season and $4 million the next.

Huberdeau’s coming off a solid bounce-back season, after the 2013 Calder Trophy recipient suffered through a bit of a sophomore slump. Playing 79 games in 2014-15, he led the Panthers with 54 points.

Huberdeau represents the last of the big-name restricted free agents to sign.

Update:

The Panthers have confirmed the signing.

“Jonathan is a skilled and dynamic young player who will play an important role on our team for the future,” said GM Dale Tallon. “We want the best players and the best team. It’s really starting to come together.”
