Blues re-sign Jaskin to one-year contract

The St. Louis Blues on Friday announced they re-signed 22-year-old winger Dmitrij Jaskin to a one-year contract.

According to Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, it’s a one-way contract worth $775,000.

In 54 games with the Blues last season, his rookie campaign, Jaskin emerged with 13 goals and 18 points.

He appeared in six playoff games this spring for St. Louis and recorded one assist.

The Blues took Jaskin, who brings size on the wing at six-feet-two-inches tall, in the second round, 41st overall, of the 2011 NHL Draft.
