Details in the sexual assault civil lawsuit against Mike Ribeiro have emerged from documents filed on Thursday in U.S. District Court.

On the Forecheck has the details of the interactions between Ribeiro and his former nanny dating back to 2012 while he was a member of the Dallas Stars.

Ribeiro continues to deny the allegations through his lawyer Brian Lauten.

“Mike and (wife) Tamara Ribeiro deny these allegations and will confront their accuser in a court of law,” Lauten said in a statement to The Tennessean. “In the meantime, heeding my advice, they will not be making any further comments. Mike is dedicated to being the best hockey player he can be and attempting to try this case outside the courtroom does a disservice to all parties.”

According to a report in March, Ribeiro’s former nanny is seeking more than $1 million in damages.

Ribeiro signed a one-year, $1.05 million contract with the Preds last summer after being bought out by the Arizona Coyotes.

The Tennessean reports that Ribeiro made Predators’ GM David Poile aware of the allegations at the time of his signing.

The Predators refused to comment on the new details in the case referring to a statement made in March.

Ribeiro is set to become an unrestricted free agent next month.

Adam Vingan reports that negotiations between Ribeiro and the Preds are on going.

“Mike Ribeiro, that’s one of the best stories of the year,” Poile said in May. “A real rebirth of his career. ... He couldn’t be happier. His family couldn’t be happier here. His kids are in school; they’re all doing well. They love the whole area of Nashville. ... I’d like to get that done.”
