New York Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein, who has been out of the lineup since mid-March, is nearing a return.

Klein has been sidelined with an arm injury after blocking an Alex Ovechkin shot on March 11 in Washington.
Prior to suffering the injury, Klein was having a career year offensively with career highs in goals (nine) and points (26) in 65 regular season games.
The Rangers host the Penguins tonight in Game 2 before the series moves to Pittsburgh for Game 3 on Monday.
