Devan rides again

Devan Dubnyk will start his 26th game in a row on Friday night when the Wild host the Ducks in Minnesota, marking the NHL’s longest consecutive starts streak since Jonas Hiller got 32 in a row for the Ducks during the 2011-12 campaign.

As we’ve talked about numerous times in Goalie Nods, Dubnyk has been outstanding for Minnesota this season and, should he continue this incredibly heavy workload, might be in talks as one of the three finalists for this year’s Vezina Trophy. Heading into tonight’s action, he’s 24-19-4 on the year (with Minnesota) with a .937 save percentage, 1.67 GAA and five shutouts.

For the Ducks, John Gibson will start in goal.
