Calgary Flames forward Lance Bouma was given a major penalty for kneeing and a game misconduct after sticking out his knee on an open ice hit on Toronto Maple Leafs forward Brandon Kozun.
The incident happened as Kozun was carrying the puck through the neutral zone, just past the midway point of the first period. Bouma then fought Zach Sill.
Calgary jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first period.
