Earlier today, we passed along word that Calgary netminder Karri Ramo was shrugging off trade talk as he prepped for a Tuesday night start against the Rangers at MSG.
Well, looks like he did a good job blocking out distractions.
Ramo made a highlight-reel save early in the first period of tonight’s tilt, robbing J.T. Miller on the doorstep with New York on the man advantage:
Tonight marks Ramo’s first start since beating Vancouver 3-2 on Feb. 14. If this is indeed a showcase for a potential deal, he’s started quite well.
