The Detroit Red Wings will be without captain Henrik Zetterberg tonight in Anaheim.
According to Ansar Khan of MLive.com, Zetterberg will miss tonight’s game and possibly Tuesday’s game against the L.A. Kings.
Zetterberg was injured after taking punches from Dallas Stars’ captain Jamie Benn during the second period of Saturday’s 7-6 overtime win.
The 34-year-old played just one shift in the third period and did not practice on Sunday.
Zetterberg has 15 goals and a team-leading 49 points in 57 games this season.
Khan also reports that Teemu Pulkkinen is a game-time decision tonight against the Ducks. If the 22-year-old is unable to play, Daniel Cleary will take his spot in the lineup.
