Andrew Hammond made 42 saves to win his first career start as the Ottawa Senators doubled up the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 Wednesday night.
Per @EliasSports: At 27 years, 8 days old, A. Hammond is also the oldest goalie in @Senators history to earn a win in his 1st career start.

Milan Michalek had a goal and an assist and Mark Stone had a goal and two assists for the Senators, who improved to 3-1-1 in their last five.
Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Kyle Turris had the other Ottawa goals.
The Sens have now won two of three meetings with the Habs this season.
Max Pacioretty had his 27th of the season while Nathan Beaulieu scored his first career NHL goal in the loss.
Pacioretty’s goal came just eight seconds after Michalek opened the scoring at 11:26 of the second period.
The bigger concern for the Habs is the health of their blue line.
Alexei Emelin left the game 20 seconds into the first period with an upper body injury and did not return.
According to TVA’s Renaud Lavoie, the club recalled Jarred Tinordi following the game.
Then late in the second period P.K. Subban blocked a Bobby Ryan shot off his right foot. He missed the remainder of the period, but returned for the third. Subban logged 30:45 in ice time in the loss.
Montreal is already without Sergei Gonchar, who missed his second game nursing an upper body injury suffered Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Canadiens blue line could look interesting tomorrow night when they play host to the Florida Panthers.
#Habs could potentially have Weaver, Gilbert, Tinordi and Pateryn all in the lineup tomorrow.
