Michal Rozsival didn’t skate this morning in Chicago. Instead, two days after a tough outing versus Vancouver, the veteran defenseman reportedly had an ice-pack on his shoulder.
If Rozsival is unable to play tonight versus the Devils, it’s likely Kyle Cumiskey will make his regular-season debut for the ‘Hawks. The 28-year-old d-man was called up yesterday from AHL Rockford.
Cumiskey has one goal and 10 assists in 38 games for the IceHogs. A good skater, he signed with the ‘Hawks this summer after a couple of productive seasons in Sweden with Modo.
Chicago has also called up forward Ryan Hartman and reassigned forward Teuvo Teravainen. Hartman, the 30th overall pick in the 2013 draft, was an extra on line rushes this morning, suggesting he’s unlikely to play tonight.
#Blackhawks lines: Saad-Toews-Hossa; Versteeg-Richards-Kane; Bickell-Shaw-Kruger; Sharp-Kruger-Smith (Hartman working as apparent extra)

Ben Smith is still on ice following #Blackhawks' morning skate. Could be a scratch for the first time this season.
