Now that the dust has settled on Wednesday’s blockbuster between Winnipeg and Buffalo, the focus shifts to the big narrative moving forward: Evander Kane’s ability to fit into a new dressing room.
(Figuratively, not literally. Unless he really lets himself go this offseason.)
Kane, as you may have heard, had (reported) rifts with some of his Jets teammates — including Dustin Byfuglien, who (reportedly) threw Kane’s tracksuit into the shower last week. But those (reported) issues didn’t appear to be a problem for Sabres GM Tim Murray, who acknowledged that while it “wasn’t all unicorns and rainbows” for Kane in Winnipeg, “all players have warts.”
