NBC continues its coverage of the 2014-15 campaign when the St. Louis Blues host the Chicago Blackhawks at the Scottrade Center at 12:30 pm ET today. In addition to NBC, you can also watch the game online.

The Chicago Blackhawks will look to conclude their season-high seven game road trip on a winning note when they visit their Central Division rivals from St. Louis.

The Blackhawks are 3-3-0 on the trip and coming off a 2-1 overtime win against the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night.

St. Louis enters Sunday’s action following its worst defeat of the season falling 7-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak.

The two teams split the first two games in the season series with the Blues winning 3-2 on home ice Oct. 25 and the Blackhawks picking up a 4-1 win at the United Center on Dec. 3.

Corey Crawford is expected to get the start for Chicago. He is 12-3-2 with a 1.72 G.A.A. in his 17 meetings (playoffs included) with St. Louis. Crawford picked up his 20th win of the season on Friday, but has yet to face the Blues this season.

Brian Elliott, who was pulled in Friday’s game, is scheduled to start for St. Louis. He made 22 saves in the win during the first meeting between the two teams. Elliott is 3-1-0 with a 2.04 G.A.A. in his last five games against the Blackhawks.

Patrick Kane is hot for the Blackhawks. The 26-year-old is tied for the league-lead in points (58) along with Tyler Seguin and Jakub Voracek. Kane’s 26 goals this season are four shy of his career-high set during the 2009-10 season. Kane has scored or assisted on half of the Blackhawks’ 20 goals in the past eight games.

Kane has also been hot against St. Louis. He has seven points in his last four regular season meetings with the Blues including a two-goal performance in the December victory.

The Blues are hot at home. Since Nov. 11, St. Louis has just one regulation loss (15-1-2) on home ice is are 8-0-1 in their past nine home games.

The two clubs will meet twice in April to conclude the season series.
