The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without defenseman Jason Garrison when they play host to the L.A. Kings tonight.

Garrison suffered what the team is calling a lower body injury during Tampa’s win over the Dallas Stars on Thursday night.

The Bolts are already without Matt Carle and Radko Gudas on the blue line.

Lightning coach Jon Cooper told the media Saturday morning that he doesn’t believe Garrison’s injury is “extremely long term”.

Garrison has three goals and 20 points while averaging 20:13 in ice time in 49 games this season.

Here’s a look at Tampa’s defensive pairings for tonight:

Tonight marks the first of two meetings between the Kings and Lightning. They’ll reconvene in L.A. on Feb. 16.
