We filmed this Wednesday, before Filip Forsberg and Johnny Gaudreau were added as All-Star Game replacements. So if it’s one of those two who gets picked last -- and it very well could be -- we’re off the hook.

Remember, it has to be a forward that’s picked last. Per the rules, “Each team will be comprised of three goaltenders, six defensemen and 12 forwards. To ensure the final draft picks are not predetermined due to position requirements, each team’s three goaltenders must be picked by the end of Round 10 and each team’s six defensemen must be picked by the end of Round 15.”

It’s also pretty unlikely we’ll see a veteran like Radim Vrbata or Patrik Elias picked last, with the resultant embarrassment. More likely it’ll be a youngster, a la Phil Kessel and Logan Couture in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
