Todd Bertuzzi’s attempt at a comeback may have taken a blow.
According to TSN Radio’s Ian Mendes, Bertuzzi suffered a knee injury in Binghamton’s 5-1 loss to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Saturday night.

The 39-year-old was a minus-3 in the loss to the Phantoms and has failed to register a point in two AHL games with the Ottawa Senators’ affiliate.
Bertuzzi signed a professional tryout with Binghamton on Jan. 12.
In 1,159 NHL games with the New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, Detroit Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames Bertuzzi has 314 goals and 770 points.
