All-Star snub P.K. Subban opened the scoring for the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, blasting a slap shot past Jaroslav Halak less than two minutes into the first period.

That’s a rocket of a shot. A cannon, if you will. It came on the power play, although even with the five-on-four advantage for Montreal, how was Subban left so wide open to take that one-timer? That’s the 10th goal of this season for the 25-year-old defenseman, which already matches his total from last season.

He joins eight other NHL blue liners to hit double digits in goals.
