Brad Marchand could be hearing from the NHL’s Department of Player Safety.

The Bruins forward had a slew foot on Rangers’ Derick Brassard during the second period Thursday night.

There was no penalty on the play and Brassard remains in the game.

Marchand has been suspended previously.

He received a five-game suspension for his hit on Vancouver Canucks defenseman Sami Salo in January 2012.
