Rangers’ forward Carl Hagelin appeared to suffer a skate cut on the back of his right leg early in the first period tonight against the New York Islanders.
Hagelin went down in the corner in the Islanders zone and defenseman Johnny Boychuk inadvertently stepped on Hagelin’s leg.

Apparently Boychuk stepped on Hagelin's leg in a battle and Hagelin was cut. Went in locker room and got stitched up #NYR
