Derek Stepan suffered an upper body injury during the Rangers 3-0 loss to the New York Islanders Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old was a minus-1 in 6:55 of ice time in the loss.

In 27 games this season Stepan has six goals and 27 points.
Stepan missed the first 12 games of the season recovering from a fractured fibula.
