Bogosian returns for Jets tonight

Edmonton Oilers v Winnipeg Jets

Edmonton Oilers v Winnipeg Jets

Lance Thomson

The Winnipeg Jets, decimated by injuries on defense, will get a key blueliner member back tonight when Zach Bogosian returns to the lineup for the first time in 14 games.

Bogosian will be paired with newly acquired Jay Harrison against Arizona this evening.

The 24-year-old rearguard was averaging over 22 minutes per game prior to suffering a foot injury while blocking a shot in early December. It was one in a string of injuries to hit the Jets D: Jacob Trouba, Tobias Enstrom, Mark Stuart and Grant Clitsom were all hurt and remain sidelined, which forced Dustin Byfuglien to move from forward and help fill the void.
