AHL announces All-Star Classic rosters

The rosters for the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic were announced today, and they included some top NHL prospects.

Among the youngsters that made the cut:

--- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton d-man Derrick Pouliot, the eighth overall pick in the 2012 draft (Pittsburgh)
--- Providence forward David Pastrnak, the 25th overall pick in 2014 (Boston)
--- Iowa d-man Matt Dumba, the seventh overall pick in 2012 (Minnesota)
--- Adirondack forward Emile Poirier, the 22nd overall pick in 2013 (Calgary)
--- Chicago forward Ty Rattie, the 32nd overall pick in 2011 (St. Louis)
--- Bridgeport d-man Ryan Pulock, the 15th overall pick 2013 (NY Islanders)
--- Charlotte d-man Ryan Murphy, the 12th overall pick in 2011 (Carolina)

Notably absent? Blackhawks prospect Teuvo Teravainen, currently up with the big club, who has 23 points in 33 games for Rockford this season.
