Although he was the rival goaltender in the 2015 World Juniors semifinals contest against Canada, by the end of the game Slovakia’s Denis Godla had won over the Toronto crowd with his stellar play in a 5-1 loss:

“It was overwhelming and I will remember that for the rest of my life,” Godla said, per the Canadian Press.
