The Winnipeg Jets are giving the Columbus Blue Jackets some competition in the “another injury? seriously?” department.
From Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun:
#NHLJets HC Paul Maurice says Evander Kane is out until February with a lower-body injury sustained vs #mnwild on Sat (blocked shot w/foot)

The Jets, of course, are already without four of their best defensemen, with Zach Bogosian, Toby Enstrom, Mark Stuart and Jacob Trouba all on injured reserve with various ailments.
Kane has six goals and nine assists in 26 games. The 23-year-old winger missed a number of games earlier this season with a knee injury, plus two more due to a suspension.
