Video: Red Wings’ Kronwall suffers upper body injury

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall was sandwiched by Sabres’ forwards Drew Stafford and Tyler Ennis during the second period tonight.

According to the team, the 33-year-old suffered an upper body injury and will not return.

Kronwall has five goals and 18 points in 35 games this season while averaging over 24 minutes in ice time.
