After four games, Henrik Tallinder is done in Hartford.

Tallinder has been released from his professional tryout with New York’s AHL affiliate, the club announced. News of the release comes after the 35-year-old recorded one assist and five shots on goal for the Wolf Pack.

Tallinder, who was in Toronto’s training camp earlier this fall before suffering a shoulder injury, is a veteran of 678 career NHL contests with the Sabres and Devils. He appeared in 64 games last year for Buffalo, scoring two goals and eight points while averaging 18 minutes per night.

Tallinder was the second veteran blueliner the Rangers brought in for a look while their big-league defense was struggling with injury -- Tomas Kaberle also had a stint in Hartford, but was released after appearing in just two games.
