St. Louis will be without one of its most in-form forwards for tonight’s big tilt against the Kings.
T.J. Oshie, who has three goals and six points in his last six games, is being held out of the lineup due to family reasons, the Blues announced shortly prior to puck drop. No specifics were given regarding Oshie’s absence, though St. Louis did note his absence would be brief, and would rejoin the club on its upcoming road trip through Los Angeles, San Jose and Colorado.
The 27-year-old has five goals and 12 points in 23 games this year, averaging just under 19 minutes per night.
Magnus Paajarvi is likely to draw into the Blues lineup as Oshie’s replacement.
