Video: Lundqvist has a chuckle at the lack of Oilers’ scoring chances

Screen Shot 2014-12-15 at 2.18.46 AM

New York Rangers starter Henrik Lundqvist made 16 saves earning his 55th career shutout in a 2-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers Sunday night.

Edmonton had just five shots on goal in each of the first two periods while the Rangers also had 21 blocked shots in the win.

Post-game Lundqvist was asked whether there was a significant save he had to make to earn his fifth shutout of the season and could only laugh at the lack of challenge Edmonton provided.

The Oilers have lost four straight and have just one win in their last 16 games.
