Video: Oshie’s OT beauty wins it for Blues

It seems like the St. Louis Blues have deployed a rotating cast of red-hot forwards, even if Vladimir Tarasenko’s breakout towers over the rest. Perhaps it’s T.J. Oshie’s turn, then.

The man many fans know for that brilliant one-man shootout show in Sochi has been a terror beyond the “skills competition” lately, with his 3-2 overtime winner against the Colorado Avalanche being Saturday’s highlight reel moment:

NHL.com’s Lou Korac captures his streaky play well: his six points in the last four games matches how many he scored in his previous 19.

St. Louis would probably prefer steadier work from its scorers, yet if someone steps up more often than not, Oshie & Co. might be able to gain a reputation for big moments in the playoffs, too.
