Stephen Weiss can’t seem to catch a break.
Just when it appeared things were headed in the right direction for the Red Wings forward, Weiss suffered a shoulder injury in Detroit’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Florida Panthers Friday night.
Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports Weiss will not play tonight in Toronto.

Weiss battled groin issues to start the season and missed nearly the entire month of October.
Since returning, the 31-year-old has four goals and 10 points in 10 games.
