That’s the jersey San Jose will wear for its outdoor game versus L.A. at Levi’s Stadium on Feb. 21. Some details, per the team website:

-- Number systems are larger than normal, with the back numbers enlarged to 13 inches tall from the standard 11.5 inches, and sleeve numbers enlarged to 7 inches instead of the normal 4 inches.

-- Appearing on the shoulder is a new mark that was created to pay tribute to the Sharks devoted fans in Northern California. The mark incorporates the state of California, with a star on San Jose, marking the exact home of the team. Placed at the bottom of the mark is the iconic dorsal shark fin, which has been borrowed from the SJ ligature the team currently uses.

As CSN Bay Area reported earlier, the Sharks have suggested they’ll use these as their third jerseys moving forward, similar to what both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia did with the sweaters worn for the Winter Classic.
