Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ondrej Palat was noticeably absent from the team’s pre-game skate tonight.

According to the team, Palat is day-to-day with a lower body injury.

The 23-year-old, who appeared in all 29 games prior to tonight, is sixth in points (19). His nine goals have him tied for third on the team behind only Steven Stamkos and Ryan Callahan.

Palat missed practice Wednesday and did not participate in the team’s optional morning skate Thursday.

Alex Killorn took Palat’s spot on a line with Tyler Johnson and Nikita Kucherov.
