Fasth faces Ducks
Viktor Fasth will face his former club for the third time since being traded when the Oilers take on the Ducks in Anaheim tonight.
Fasth, who made his NHL debut for the Ducks in ’13 and went 28-17-8 over parts of two seasons, will make his ninth start this year for Edmonton and first since allowing five goals on 24 shots in a Dec. 1 loss to Arizona. Overall, the Swedish netminder hasn’t had a successful campaign and heads into Wednesday’s action with a 2-6-2 record, 3.23 GAA and .891 save percentage.
For the Ducks, Frederik Andersen will get the call in goal.
