Islanders forward Anders Lee doesn’t have a disciplinary hearing scheduled following his hit on St. Louis’ Carl Gunnarsson during Saturday’s game, per Sportsnet.
Lee caught Gunnarsson with what appeared to be a high hit midway through an eventual 6-4 loss to the Blues, forcing Gunnarsson from the game entirely:
Lee wasn’t penalized on the play. Gunnarsson is listed as doubtful (upper-body) for tonight’s game against Florida.
UPDATE: From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch...Gunnarsson, who @tomtimm reported will miss tonight’s game, has a concussion and is out indefinitely. @NHLPlayerSafety still reviewing hit.
