The St. Louis Blues will hobble a bit into Saturday’s intriguing matchup against the New York Islanders, as Alexander Steen is out. Joakim Lindstrom takes his place in the lineup.

Steen was able to warm up, but the decision was made to sit him, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Jeremy Rutherford. He’s been dealing with an injured hand lately, but it appears to be a lower-body issue in this case.

Steen, 30, has 16 points in 26 games so far in 2014-15. Lindstrom, 31, has three goals in 21 appearances this season.
