Pittsburgh defenseman Roberto Bortuzzo hit New Jersey Devils’ forward Jaromir Jagr with a big check behind the Penguins net late in the second period Tuesday night.
Jagr was attended to on the ice and left the game immediately.
The hit from Bortuzzo appeared to be shoulder to chest. There was no penalty on the play.
As you can see from the video both players have been going at one another all night.
New Jersey is already without Stephen Gionta and Patrik Elias, both did not return for the second period.
