Kings defenseman Slava Voynov was in a Los Angeles County courthouse this morning where he, not surprisingly, pleaded not guilty to charges of domestic violence.
Voynov is scheduled to be back in court Dec. 15 for a preliminary hearing.
Voynov is also reportedly permitted to have “peaceful” contact with the alleged victim, his wife, despite the prosecution having sought a no-contact order.
The Kings were recently granted salary-cap relief by the NHL, as Voynov remains suspended indefinitely.
