Avs stick with Pick
Colorado will keep rolling with rookie netminder Calvin Pickard when it faces the Canadiens at the Pepsi Center tonight.
Pickard, 22, has taken over the backup gig from Reto Berra -- temporarily starting while No. 1 Semyon Varlamo’s out injured -- and is thriving, going 3-3-0 this season with a .931 save percentage and 2.20 GAA. In Pickard’s last outing (Saturday), he stopped 22 of 24 shots in a win over Dallas.
For the Habs, Carey Price will get the nod in goal.
