Eddie gets Anaheim for the second time

The Canucks are going with Eddie Lack in what promises to be an emotional affair with the Ducks.

Ryan Kesler is set to play in Vancouver for the first time since being traded to Anaheim at the draft. This isn’t his first outing against the Canucks, though -- these two clubs met at the Honda Center on Nov. 9, with Vancouver scoring a 2-1 shootout victory with Lack in goal.

The lanky Swede was tremendous that night, stopping 28 of 29 shots for his first win of the season. That game also marked the last time Lack played; it’s been primarily the Ryan Miller show in Vancouver this year and, while his GAA (2.74) and save percentage (.900) aren’t great, Miller is atop the NHL leaderboard for wins, with 12.

For Anaheim, no starter has been named, though Frederik Andersen appears likely.
