Scrivens looks to topple Canucks

The Oilers will give Ben Scrivens his third straight start tonight as they look to beat the Canucks for the first time this season.

Edmonton is 0-2-1 against Vancouver using both Scrivens and Viktor Fasth, but the club is hopeful Scrivens’ solid efforts in his last two outings against the Canucks (in which he stopped 55 of 59 shots) carries over to tonight.

The club is also hopeful Scrivens can halt his personal losing streak; his last win came on Oct. 27 against Montreal. Since then, he’s gone 0-5-1.

For Vancouver, Ryan Miller will get the start in goal.
