Minnesota has taken a 3-0 lead through 20 minutes in Sunday’s game against Winnipeg, but the Wild also suffered a scare when forward Jason Zucker briefly left the contest.
Zucker smashed his shoulder and head into the end boards. He collapsed to the ice and Winnipeg’s Mark Stuart pushed him repeatedly after he was already down in obvious pain. The Wild forward was examined by a trainer and eventually got to his feet and skated off the ice. After a brief absence, he returned to the game.
