The Carolina Hurricanes will remain without the services of Alexander Semin and Jay Harrison as they face the San Jose Sharks on Sunday, the Raleigh News & Observer’s Chip Alexander reports.
Semin and Harrison were unable to play in Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the Boston Bruins. Semin, 30, is dealing with an upper-body injury while Harrison, 32, has a lower-body issue.
The Hurricanes hope to create more offense despite coming off back-to-back games. Troy Grosenick’s NHL debut may or may not improve those chances.
